Elaine Bradley
Chief Executive Officer
Elaine Bradley has been CEO of Volunteering Ireland since April 2007. Before taking up this post Elaine worked as a consultant, specialising in the enhancement of capability and strategic development of organisations in the nonprofit sector through a range of interventions including organisational development and change management. Elaine has extensive experience in the community and voluntary sector in both a paid and voluntary capacity. Elaine holds a degree in training and education from NUI Galway and an MSc (Business) in Organisational Behaviour from Trinity College. 
Jessica Ryan
Development Manager
Jessica Ryan is originally from Charlotte, North Carolina. Since joining Volunteering Ireland, she has held responsibility for the development and implementation of Ireland's first national awards programme recognising the amazing contribution of volunteers in this country, the Ireland Involved Awards. She also has responsibility for overseeing the membership programme as well as PAVMI. Jessica also represents Volunteering Ireland at international conferences and helps coordinate European partnerships. Before coming to Volunteering Ireland, Jessica worked with Habitat for Humanity and in a variety of for-profit sector positions. 
Naoise McNally
Project ManagerNaoise McNally joined the Volunteering Ireland team in 2009. As Project Manager, she oversees the organisation's web and communications plans and assists with planning of the Ireland Involved Awards. 
Brona Cousins
Office ManagerIn her current position at Volunteering Ireland, Brona oversees the day-to-day operations of the headoffice, including finances and systems administration. She joined the team as Administrator in the head office and is originally trained as a barrister. 
Blanaid Quilligan
AdministratorA native Dubliner, Blanaid has a degree in English and French from University College Dublin, worked in the media for over twenty years, and then did contract work in administration work. In 2008, she began volunteering with MS Ireland. She has been with Volunteering Ireland since January and is really enjoying it. She also has two adult children, Kevin and Eimear, who are in their 20s.

Marzia Baldassari
Coordinator, Dublin City North Volunteer Centre
Marzia joined the Volunteering Ireland Team in April 2009. Originally from Rome, Marzia has travelled extensively in Europe, the Americas and the Middle East and has developed a strong interest in human rights and social development. She is fluent in Italian, English, Spanish and French as well as having a good working knowledge of Danish and Polish. Prior to this post Marzia worked as a UN Volunteers Coordinator in Nicaragua. Marzia has wide-ranging experience in community and voluntary groups, corporate sector and international organisations. She holds degrees in Political Science and International Relations. 
Kasia Zukowska
Outreach Placement Officer, Dublin City North Volunteer Centre
Kasia joined Volunteering Ireland in March 2010 as an intern. Originally from Poland, Kasia graduated from University College Dublin, having studied History and Italian . She is actively involved in campaigning with different organisations, such as Irish section of Amnesty International, Trócaire and Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign. Last year she volunteered in the Middle East where she was working with children in a refugee camp. She believes that volunteering is a valuable experience, especially its awareness-raising aspect.
Niamh Miller
Administrator
Niamh joined Volunteering Ireland in June 2010. She graduated from UCD with degrees in history and sociology. Previously, Niamh worked in Finance, but was keen to move into the charity/not-for-profit sector. She has enjoyed spending time travelling in South America, and has been involved in letter-writing campaigns for Amnesty International and fund-raising for Concern.
Interns
Liz Challice
Communications, Membership & Events Intern
Liz joined Volunteering Ireland in May 2010. Her role supports the communication strategy for Volunteering Ireland, as well as the Ireland Involved Awards in 2010. She worked as a newspaper journalist for four years, in Milwaukee and California. Originally from Los Angeles, she completed her bachelor's degrees in Journalism and Writing-Intensive English from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She is finishing her master's in Business Management at Smurfit Graduate Business School, Dublin.
